Realme 8 series smartphone was launched a few months ago. Just after the launch, the brand immediately started working on its successor. Realme 9, just like its previous series is supposed to be competing in the mid-range segment. It will also have some new improved features and an updated set of old features in it. This phone will have a display of 6.5 inches Super AMOLED display which comes in a Full HD+ resolution with 1080×2340 pixels. The selfie camera is housed in a punch hole on the screen, which has a pixel density of 396 PPI. In addition to that Realme’s mid-range lineup uses the octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which comes paired with 6 GB RAM. It also offers 64 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256 GB with the use of the dedicated card slot.

Moreover, It consists of a quad rear camera which contains a 64 MP sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 5 MP camera 2 MP sensor. Its 32MP selfie camera in the front also supports video calls. It provides a 5000 mAh battery in addition to fast charging by USB and Type C port. It is going to have a non-removable battery as per over prediction.
Apart from this, It is known to have an on-screen fingerprint sensor, face lock and headphone jack.
In India, it is expected to be worth Rs 16,499. In a recent virtual Event, the company confirmed its launch next year, 2022. Previously, it was all set to launch before the festive season that is somewhere in the month of October 2021. But later it announced a delay in the launch. According to us, Realme 9 can be available in three colour ranges: blue, white and yellow.
Along with the normal Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9A, the company could be working on Realme Note 9 versions, including the Realme Note 9 Prime. The company has yet to reveal what models will be available under the series.
